Since 1994, government and commercial clients have entrusted GCI’s professionals to perform hazardous material testing, interpret results, and develop specifications based on those results. There is no project too small or too large. From bulk sampling one material to a comprehensive hazmat survey of multiple buildings on a campus, GCI’s consultants plan for and address all potential challenges that may be encountered. We pride ourselves on conducting projects on time and within budget.
We often serve as the third-party monitor during the abatement phase. Our clients have peace of mind knowing that we are looking out for the safety of the building occupants, staff, and/or other contractors, as well as their legal interests, ensuring contractors are performing the work within the boundaries of the contract, laws, and regulations. GCI’s NIOSH 582 certified analysts provide trusted, unbiased results regarding the efficacy of abatement efforts in terms of final clearance sample collection and analysis.
GCI’s consultants are all MRWA trained and MDE accredited water samplers.
We routinely test potable drinking water systems for lead on behalf of clients such as Baltimore County Public Schools, Howard County Public Schools, DC Public Schools, Maryland Stadium Authority, and NIH’s childcare facilities for lead. We have also conducted sampling for copper, legionella, turbidity, e. coli, total coliforms, VOCs, etc. in potable water. Given the quantity of samples that we collect, and the accredited laboratories with whom we partner, we are able to offer competitive pricing to all of our clients. We provide reliable results without breaking the bank.
